About me

Throughout high school I had a passion for all things science, but shuddered at the thought of being stuck in a lab. I wanted to work with people and help them in a more direct way. Podiatry offered the perfect solution to my dilemma. It allowed me to further explore a passion for science whilst developing skills that empowered me to help people reduce pain, improve function and better their overall health.

Having suffered from foot pain as a child, I developed an interest in both Biomechanics and Paediatrics. I enjoy about working with children to ensure issues are detected and treated as early as possible. My experience managing foot pain is put to good use at The Running Analysis Centre (at Foot Faults Mount Gravatt) where I help clients of all abilities achieve their activity goals.

Most of my spare time is spent enjoying life with my partner and little boy Darcy.  In my time off from Mum duties you’ll find me enjoying anything related to the Arts.

In 2006, I graduated from Queensland University of Technology with honors and jumped on an opportunity in Gladstone to start my working career. I have spent the last 12 years gaining experience within a number of private clinics across all aspects of Podiatry.

I joined the Foot Faults team in 2014 as a Senior Podiatrist. In 2016 I also became the Foot Faults Clinical Supervisor. This role involves continually training and developing systems to further improve the quality of care delivered by our Podiatry team.

I also work as an associate lecturer in Podiatry at the Southern Cross University where I love having the opportunity to help the next generation of Podiatrists develop their skills and a passion for treating feet.

I am enrolled in the Australian Podiatry Association Specialist Sports Podiatrist Program and an active member of the Australian Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine.
